Science & Maths Activities
Students of class XI-A and XII-A Science, along with Mr. J.K. Gupta (P.G.T. Phy.) and Mr. Sunil Pawar (P.G.T. Chem.) visited National Science Center, N.Delhi .This visit includes various galleries like Science and Technology, Human Science, Information revolution, Emerging technology and Fun science. To inculcate scientific attitude among students during the all subject exhibition was organized in the school premises . Mr. J.C.Pahuja , Education Coordinator, Chairman, Manager of school along with the Principals and teachers from different Ramjas schools visited the exhibition and praised the work done by the students and the teachers and warmly shared ideas with the students to motivate them. Tushant Mehra and Kamal of class XI –A under the able guidance of Mr. J.K. Gupta (P.G.T. Phy.) & Sh.Trilok Singh(Lab. Astt.) participated in Jawahar Lal Nehru Science Exhibition and their model ‘Down Step Up Machine’ was selected at central level Science Exhibition. Three students of XI A participated at Zonal level Science Quiz Competition. Vipul (VI A), Afif Khan(VII A), Abhishek Chauhan(VIIIA), SomNath (IX A) and Chirag(X A) were nominated in INSPIRE award scheme implemented by Ministry of Science and Technology. Students participated in science exhibition at zonal level and Ayush Tripathi XIA, Dheeraj XIA won Ist prize and Anuj Maurya IXC won IInd prize in Science Toon. Students participated in I.O.S. and won medals as wining prizes. Students participated in Erudite Maths Olympiad under the guidance of Mr. Rajesh Garg and Mr. Brijesh Anand. Jatin( VIII) won Laptop, Rajat Gupta won Wrist Watch and 9 Gold, 13 Silver & 10 Bronze medals were begged by the students. Mr. Sunil Pawar enabled students from class VI to XII to participate at Young Scientist Talent Test conducted by Shri Chaitanya Institute in the month of December. House Activities: To inculcate the feeling of competition, team work, leadership, harmony etc. among students school has been divided into seven houses. The various inter-house activities like drawing competition, essay writing, card making, antakshri competition , Sudoku, debate, extempore and slogan writing etc. are organized in the last two periods of every Saturday. Proper rewards are given to the students to motivate them.

Scout & Guides Camp:

Three days scouts camp was attended by 24 students from 25-11-2022 to 27-12-2022 and won ‘A+’ grade in Camp Fire and First Aid, B+ grade in Cooking without utensils, Patrol Expedition and Signalling and B grade in Camp Life under the supervision of Sh. Jitender Mohan and Sh. Syed Shahood Ali

To make children energetic, affectionate, truthful, cooperative, humble, efficient and resourceful different activities were organized in the school. A group of 5 students along with their teacher Mr.S.k. Mishra participated in Tiger Resort at Gattu Ghat, Neelkant Road, Rishikesh, Uttrakhand in the month of January. Self cooking, camp fire & study of village life were the main attractions of this programme.

The world is a beautiful place to live in and we are very fortunate to be part of this fabulous creation of god. There is a beauty in each and every thing. The real connoisseur of beauty is one who perceives it in the right way and has the sense to appreciate it. It is said, “Beauty lies in the eye of beholder”. To enjoy the beauty of nature teachers made a trip to Lansdowne.

Inter Ramjas Bal Kavi Sammelan /Inter Ramjas Debate:

It is the result of great efforts of Mr.S.K.Mishra that students participated with great zeal in Inter Ramjas Bal Kavi Sammelan and Inter Ramjas Debate. Master Suraj singh of class XII A won the prize for Best Orator in senior group.

Inter Ramjas Antakshari Contest (Ramcharitmanas)

Under the guidance of Shri S. K. Mishra P.G.T (Hindi) Rohit sharma(VIIB), Shivam Tripathi(VIIIC), Gaurav Sonkaria(VIIIC) and Akash(VIIIC) got the Consolation prize in Jr. group.

CELEBRATIONS:

Inter House Diwali Greeting Cards making competition was organized in the school as Diwali Celebrations. Students performed well in the activity and won prizes. 14th November(Children’s Day) was celebrated in the school and sweets were distributed among the children.

When it comes to effective presentation of both creative acumen and intelligence traits our students and teachers are the best. This has been proved on Teacher’s Day during the activity time at Tiliyar Lake. It was celebrated with great zeal. Class XII students honored their teachers with cards & flowers & managed the school.

A colorful & influential independence day (Rashtrotasava-2022) was celebrated on 14th August’2022. The Flag was unfurled by the honorable Mr. Ashok Kumar Gupta (Manager). Patriotic group song, poem recitation, drama, Bhangra dance and speech were the main attraction of the function. Participating students & teachers were awarded for their excellent achievements.

GAMES, YOGA & OTHER SPORTS ACTIVITIES:

Overall Championship was begged by the school in Zonal level Yoga Competition. And secured IIIrd position in Inter Ramjas Yoga Competition.

REFRESHER COURSES/SEMINARS/WORKSHOPS/AWARDS:

Dr. Sandeep Gupta frequently conducted interactive sessions with the students and guided them to face various issues related to adolescence with strain.
One day seminar on Learning outcomes and Pedagogies organized by C.B.S.E. at Prudence school, Ashok Vihar, Delhi was attended in the month of December 2022.
Mr. Shish Pal and Mr. Amit attended the seminar at Ramjas School Pusa Road regarding “ Value Based Teaching of English” under Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation in schools organized by C.B.S.E. Delhi.
Mr. Manoj T.G.T.Sanskrit was awarded by Dr. Kiran Walia with Sanskrit samaradhaka samman 2018 organised by Sanskrit Academy Delhi.

OTHER CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:

Our school students participated in Creative Writing Competition organized by Ramjas Foundation held in the month of April with Mr. Jal Singh.

Three teachers and 104 students attended Fun Activity at R.S.M.I. Patel Nagar and Refresher course of Rock Climbing was attended by 9 students in the month of November.

Under the able guidance of Sh. Rajiv pandey 47th Youth Parliament competition was organized in the school on 27th August. Eight students got special prizes.It was observed by the Officers of Ministry of Parliament Affairs, Directorate of Education and Ex. Minister Mr. Bratin Sen Gupta.

25 students participated in Drawing competition organized by postal Deptt. Under Philately activity. 60 students participated in Inter Ramjas Drawing and Painting competition at R.S.M.I.ground on 4-12-12 under the supervision of Sh. J Mohan. Kamal (XIA) and S.K. Shami(VIII B) made fabulous paintings at Ramjas School Pusa Road in three days Art camp.

Striving for excellence and being sui-generis are the two corner-stones of the vision of the school. This year the school under one such drive has undertaken an initiative where in several clubs like green club, literary club and wellness club have been formed. These clubs aim at identify and harnessing a student forte and therefore secondary wing students right at the onset of this academic year has been grouped into clubs of their choice.
